About Alecia Teague Pottery
Hello! My name is Alecia Teague and I am a potter based in Templeton, California. I specialize in both wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, creating a wide range of functional and decorative pieces.
I discovered my passion for pottery while living in Sheffield, England after moving their with my family for my husbands job and it quickly became my preferred medium. I love the tactile nature of clay and the endless possibilities it offers in terms of form and surface design.
After several years of honing my craft, I decided to turn my passion into a career and opened my own studio in Templeton. My work is heavily influenced by the natural beauty of California, with many pieces featuring natural forms and earthy, muted color palettes.
In my studio, I work with a variety of clays, glazes, and other materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are both beautiful and functional. My wheel-thrown pieces include mugs, vases, and bowls, while my hand-built creations range from sculptural pieces to platters and trays.
I sell my work through a variety of local art shows and galleries, as well as through my own website. I also welcome custom orders, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have a special request in mind.
Thank you for your interest in my work! I hope you find something you love and enjoy using it in your daily life.
